A lot of people have said nice things about the actor, who was in a lot of famous Scottish movies and TV shows.

The star, who was born in Glasgow, became famous for playing Will in the famous movie Restless Natives. Will was one half of the duo that robbed a tour bus in Edinburgh.

He later played Diane’s dad in the famous movie Trainspotting.

The star went back to Glasgow for a role in Still Game. In the episode “Who’s the Daddy,” he played Chris, a Craiglang real estate developer who planned to shut down The Clansman.

After hearing the sad news, a lot of tributes have come in from fans and other actors.

Written the movie Restless Natives and is now putting together a new stage show based on it with the movie’s original director, Michael Hoffman. Ninian Dunnett said, “I’m so sad to hear this tragic news; he died far too soon.”

“He was a great fit for the role of the romantic worrier who carries the weight of the world on his shoulders in Restless Natives. We were lucky to find him.”

“Vince’s sad, young, doe-eyed face really is the spirit of the movie to many people.” And it always will be.

Finally, Ninian, 64, says, “We’re taking the stage musical on tour around Scotland next year, and I’m so sorry Vince won’t be able to join us in the fun and the memories.”

Vincent worked with Ian Pattison, who created Rab C. Nesbitt, when he was in the hit BBC sitcom in 1992.

“Vince did us the honor of appearing in the Eorpa episode of Rab C. Nesbitt,” Ian, 73, said.

“His death has come as a huge shock to all of his friends and coworkers.”

“It’s clear how well-liked and respected Vince was, both as an actor and as a funny, sensitive, and caring person.

“My condolences to Vince’s family during this very sad time.”

In the BBC sitcom Two Doors Down, Alex Norton, 74, plays Eric Baird, Vincent’s neighbor. He said, “I was sorry to hear that Vincent had died at such a young age.”

Jane McCarry, 54, played Craiglang gossip Isa Drennan. She also worked with Vincent on the 2005 episode of Still Game called “Who’s the Daddy?” and in the 2015 short film Jim the Fish.

“I’m very sorry to hear that Vincent has died,” she said. He was a nice person. A great actor and a lot of fun.

Ronnie McGhie, a former radio host, shared a touching tribute to the star.

“I am shocked to hear that the Scottish actor Vincent Friell has died,” he said.

“He was in a lot of TV shows, but his role in the movie Restless Natives is what people will remember him for.” A great movie.

“My thoughts are with his friends and family.” Thank you, Vincent. We will miss you.

“Dear Vincent Friell, you were so great,” said another fan. He is very funny and a very smart actor. “What a loss.”

A third wrote, “Vincent Friell Rest in Peace.” Great actor and nice guy. I loved your work and getting to know you over the years, friend.

When Carter Ferguson heard that Vince Friell had died, he said, “I’m so sorry to hear that.”
