The pain of Leah Remini

Last November, former Scientologist and starlet Leah Remini made the announcement that Sofia Bella Pagan, her only child, had just begun college. The “King of Queens” actor, regrettably, found this achievement to be exceedingly difficult. Bringing our only child to college for the first time has been the most agonizingly difficult and proudest experience of my life, Remini wrote on Instagram. I’ve never cried so hard in my life. I constantly torture myself with the idea that I might have encouraged my daughter to enroll in college when I was too old for it even though it was the hardest thing I have ever done. Remini continued by saying that she and her husband didn’t want to raise their kids by themselves.

Early in the year, Pagan went to her senior prom, and Remini adopted a similar outlook.

Remini noted on Instagram that Sofia’s senior prom took place yesterday night (via Today). “While the senior year is full of outstanding accomplishments, parents’ questions about how time flew by are not comforting in any way. Sofia is developing into a woman, and Angelo and I are extremely proud of her. But I require a break in this process. Due to Pagan’s recent actions, Remini unfortunately no longer has that option, which makes her depressed.

I’ll start with the positive news. Leah Remini actually had a chance to get to know Sofia Bella Pagan a bit better. Remini revealed in a recent Instagram post that Pagan made the decision to go back home after struggling to fit in at the school she had chosen, giving her and her husband “a few more months to have her home.” Pagan, though, has decided to give college another shot. We moved her into an apartment a few weeks back when she started taking school at another University, Remini said. You’d think it would be easier the second time, but Angelo and I are in a worse situation right now.

Additionally, the “Second Act” actor admitted that she and her husband are “going through what parents like us go through” as Pagan gets used to first-year student worries. We’re sobbing and unclear of what to do next, other than crying even harder when seeing pictures and videos. Remini is fortunate to be surrounded by a capable group of people. In addition to her spouse, she has her sister to fall back on. After Pagan took her first swing at college, Remini’s sister decorated Pagan’s dorm room. Remini wrote on Instagram, “My sister @nicole b remini flew up from Arizona to help me relocate my kid into college.” She remarked, “I can’t even begin to tell you how much I appreciate my sister doing this for me and her niece.
