Sergio Mendes, a musician from Brazil who worked with The Black Eyed Peas, has died at the age of 83.

Reports from TMZ say that the famous Latin artist who made music for the James Bond movies died in Los Angeles.

In 2012, Mendes and John Legend made the song “Real In Rio” for the animated movie Rio. The song was nominated for an Oscar.

In the 70 years he worked, he won three Grammys.

Mendes was known for playing bossa nova music in the samba style, which often mixed with funk.

He worked with a huge number of famous artists, such as jazz greats Herb Alpert.

In the 1980s, Mendes also worked on the title song for the James Bond movie Never Say Never Again.

He was in charge of the famous band Brasil ’66.

It was in 2006 that Mendes re-recorded a version of his first big hit, “Mas que Nada,” with The Black Eyed Peas.

He was married to the actress Gracinha Leporace, and the two of them had worked together for many years.

In Brazil, Mendes started out in nightclubs, but it was in the US that he had the most success with his rap songs.

In 1962, he was asked to play with Joao Gilberto, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Stan Getz, and Charlie Byrd at the famous Bossa Nova Festival in Carnegie Hall.

There, he met a number of famous musicians and record producers. After two years, he moved to California.

Later, at the Academy Awards in 1968, he sang the song “The Look of Love,” which was nominated for an Oscar.

One of his best-known songs is “The Fool on the Hill.” Another is “Never Gonna Let You Go.”

Mendes was a Brazilian artist who had a lot of success around the world.

During his career, he made more than 35 albums, and a lot of them went gold or platinum.
