Anyone who has been to a wedding knows the stress that this important life milestone may cause a couple.
Everyone makes a vow to never experience a wedding day again when it is over. The bride must take into account her attire, shoes, bridesmaids, venue, and pretty much everything else that day entails.
Angie Ver Huel and her husband delighted all of their guests by making sure that every aspect of their wedding was perfect.
But the night before the wedding, when he woke up and made a life-altering revelation, everything changed.
In Waukee, Iowa, where she was reared, Angie spent a number of years working as a teacher. She had dreamed of the day she would meet the prince from the fairy tale and start a charming and beautiful family with him ever since she was a little child.
She realized this was all she needed in life when she first met Justin, a 30-year-old man. He was witty, smart, and he did a great job at the bank.
In September 2013, he asked her to marry him, and she said yes. There was a year to organize every minute detail of the wedding after the engagement. One of Justin’s coworkers wasn’t as delighted to hear that he had found his true love, despite the fact that the majority of them were.
On May 8, 2014, nine months after their wedding, Justin and Angie were at his parents’ house and anticipating the following day.
In the middle of the night, Justin’s mother, Marie Michael, was awakened by a horrible sound emanating from the basement. Then, she heard three gunshots, the bedroom door opening, and Angie’s terrified screams. She immediately grasped how terrible what had occurred was.
Justin had received multiple gunshot wounds while he was sleeping next to his fiance. Justin was the only person in the room and was sleeping next to her when she opened her eyes.
The police were immediately contacted by his mother, and they began investigating this peculiar situation.
Angie was initially charged, but the police quickly found out she was innocent.
The most idyllic day of their lives had become a nightmare since Angie didn’t know who could have committed such a crime and the cops were conjuring up all kinds of possibilities.
After 30 minutes of hearing gunfire, cops spotted an abandoned car next to a highway and drove towards it.
When Angie started dating Justin, David Moffitt, her ex-boyfriend, broke up with her through text message, and the car belonged to him. He was the one who was furious about Justin’s engagement to Angie, and they worked in the same department.
A shoebox containing a bill in the name of Angie’s other ex-boyfriend Andrew Wegener was also found by the police. Investigators found more evidence that David may have been unlawfully accusing Andrew of the horrific murder by using Andrew’s name.
When David’s punishment was imposed a year later, Angie felt relieved that the guilty culprit had been found.
