Sad news about “Crocodile Dundee”

Paul Hogan, 83, spoke candidly about his failing health in an interview after being diagnosed with the inflammatory illness retroperitoneal fibrosis.

The frail-appearing actor told Sunrise hosts Natalie Barr and David Koch that he is regaining his strength after struggling with muscle loss and extreme weight loss.

He stated, “I had a kidney complaint and the therapy was worse than the sickness and it sort of shriveled me,” in an interview on Tuesday.

Well, I’ve regained my strength today,” he remarked.

“I can eat anything I want and I can’t put it back on, but I’m strong again,” Hogan continued. He further asserts that he has “zero body fat.”

Hogan recently admitted that he is yearning to spend his remaining years in Australia after his terrible illness wreaked havoc on his health and left him too weak to carry out simple tasks on his own.

He admitted to Tracy Grimshaw, anchor of A Current Affair, that the terrible effects on his health have made him desire to leave Los Angeles and go back to the comparatively tranquility of his native country.

He said that following his diagnosis of retroperitoneal fibrosis, a rare condition in which inflammation and significant scar tissue develop in the abdominal cavity, he had had muscle atrophy and extreme weight loss.

The actor said that a benign tumor had crushed a kidney and ringed his abdominal aorta.

I think I’ve improved. I had a problem with the aorta in my kidney, and the surgery fixed it, but it made me smaller,’ he said.

‘I just… My muscles shrank, I lost all of my body fat, and since it made me weak, I never regained my strength. I enlist Chance’s aid in opening jars.

He went on, “I try to eat anything greasy and lardous you can think, and many of my diet-conscious friends hate me for it. all things that they are not allowed to own. I can’t seem to put on any weight.

The actor had a benign tumor that needed to be shrunk with corticosteroids, but he now needs to regain his strength because the medical condition severely changed the form of his body.

According to Hogan, the illness was more severe than the steroid therapy.

Hogan claims that despite their intention to make you fat and reduce your muscular mass, I really lost weight.

I’m now attempting to gain a little weight because having little body fat makes you feel the cold too much.

Currently wearing a pacemaker, Hogan believes he is “being held together by string” as he fights to regain his health.

The Golden Globe winner stated that he always “maintained” his fitness up until the age of 79 and expressed gratitude for having remained healthy for so long.
