On the website for the Household Division, it says, “Trooping the Color reviewed by Her Royal Highness.” The Princess of Wales is the same as Trooping the Color reviewed by His Majesty the King, with the exception that when His Majesty the King is there, some extra mounted officers ride.

“Over 1,400 soldiers from the Household Division and The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery will be there, along with 400 musicians from the Massed Bands. They will all parade on Horse Guards for the second of two formal Reviews.”

Some people are worried that the general lack of information since the future Queen’s surgery is a sign of bad things to come. Giving a set date for Kate’s return to royal duties could help ease their minds.
