Sony Music Nashville, Miranda Lambert’s longstanding record label, has ended their relationship.
The country music icon shared the information on social media on Wednesday (March 15).
Her article began, “Sony has been my home in Nashville since I was 19 years old. Together, over the past 20 years, we’ve created records that have enabled me to tell my narrative to the world, and we’ve accomplished things I never ever imagined were possible.
Lambert continued by thanking the Sony staff for giving her the opportunity to pursue her aspirations for so many years.
She continued, “I’m very grateful for the time we spent together and everything they made possible for me, but I wouldn’t be true to myself if I wasn’t always looking for the next challenge and a new opportunity to expand my imagination. “In light of this, I’ve made the decision to part ways with my Sony clan. I’m eager to find out what the upcoming journey will bring.
The native Texan announced it alongside a graphic showing all nine of her studio albums, which were all published by Sony Music Nashville. The following albums are among them:

Furthermore, Lambert has won 14 CMA Awards.
With her Velvet Rodeo Las Vegas residency, Miranda Lambert is presently celebrating nearly two decades as a leading figure in the country music industry.
The 39-year-old hitmaker recently gushed to Garden & Gun about how much she’s loving her time in Las Vegas because it’s a vacation from the demanding daily schedule of touring.
“Touring for twenty years is sometimes exhausting. That’s one reason I’m so appreciative of the Velvet Rodeo performances, she told Garden & Gun. “Even though I’m not on the road, I still get to do what I love and interact with the fans. Because we can include production elements [like pyrotechnics] that we have never used on the road, this concert was a lot of fun to put together. You guys have to visit Sin City since I won’t be touring much while I’m doing the residency except from a few events here and there!
The 90-minute performance by Lambert is a celebration of her artistic talent and includes songs from every album she has released, from Kerosene, her self-titled debut, to Palomino, her most recent release.
The singer’s residency began on September 23, 2022, and is now scheduled to last until December of this year.
Below is a list of all of Lambert’s forthcoming residency dates in Las Vegas:
March 2023: 24, 25, 30

A dollar from each ticket bought for “Miranda Lambert: Velvet Rodeo The Las Vegas Residency” at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino will be donated by Lambert, Live Nation Las Vegas, and Caesars Entertainment to Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that has raised more than $6 million since its founding in 2009. The Foundation’s goals are to improve spay and neuter, advance animal welfare, support animal shelters nationwide, and aid in the transportation of animals after natural disasters.
In addition to her performances in Las Vegas, Lambert will publish her debut book, Y’ALL EAT YET? This spring, thank you for visiting The Beautiful B*tchin’ Kitchen. Fans will be able to get a glimpse into the Triple Crown winner’s daily life in the book, both at home and on the road. Also, readers will discover more about her Texas heritage and the work and life influences of her strong family women.
The best gift you can have in life is the ability to pitch in, work together, love music, and be there for one another, like I seen my mother and her friends doing. They both attracted the most amazing circle of girlfriends, so I think my mom got that from her parents,” she previously said.
EAT YOU ALL YET? will also contain 50 recipes from her own kitchen, including Whiskey Cupcakes, Paw Paw’s Bar-B-Que Sauce, and Nonny’s Banana Pudding. The publication date is set for April 25, 2023.
