Kelly Ripa bursts into tears on ‘Live’ when Mark Consuelos shares heartbreaking news.

During an emotional episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, Mark Consuelos revealed that he and Kelly Ripa had to say goodbye to their 17-year-old dog, Chewie.

The pet had stopped eating and was suffering from serious health issues.

Ripa, overcome with emotion, teared up as Consuelos recalled how Chewie had grown up alongside their kids.

Despite the sadness, Ripa expressed gratitude and even found moments of humor, sharing how neighbors and even their mail carrier came to say goodbye.

Consuelos comforted his wife and the audience, saying, “We’re going to get through it all together.”
