In the 1980s, her name was on the lips of all Americans.

Linda Gray, a Dallas icon, was spotted running errands near her house in Valencia, California.

The 81-year-old actress was photographed at Costco on Wednesday, when she loaded up on fruit and bought a soft blanket, according to DailyMail.com.

She was spotted pulling a cart and then placing the groceries into her car, dressed casually in black sweatpants and a tan hoodie. She completed her errands by retrieving mail from a post office box.

The actress, who owns a property in California, keeps a modest profile these days. It was the first time she’d been pictured in public in three years on Wednesday.

Sue Ellen Ewing, the long-suffering wife of Larry Hagman’s on-screen persona J.R. on the classic TV series, is a popular character played by the seasoned actress, director, and former model.

Linda portrayed the character from 1978 until 1991, after which she went on to star in a number of successful films and reprise her role in two Dallas reunions.

She’s also a talented theatre performer, having played Mrs. Robinson in a 2001 production of The Graduate.

Sylvester Stallone also collaborated with the brunette beauty on Oscar in 1991 and Models Inc from 1994 to 1995.

She returned to Dallas for spinoffs in 1996 and 1998, and she also starred on the reboot from 2012 to 2014.

Linda shared the terrible news that her 56-year-old son Jeff Thrasher had passed away on Instagram last year.

‘A memorial service for my son Jeff.’ She added, “He was the nicest, funniest, sweetest human being….. he brought the world so much love and was loved by everyone!” ‘May his voyage be filled with magic.’

‘I am sorry for your loss,’ and ‘Don’t know what to say!’ her fans said in response to the devastating news. ‘From Scotland, sending you love and a big embrace.’

‘Linda Please accept my apologies. Jordana Brewster, her Dallas co-star, commented, “I am sending you all of my love and strength.”

Linda uploaded a photo of Jeff riding his bike down a street lined with fall leaves, as well as a photo of his name written in the sand with a heart around it while the waves crashing in the backdrop.

Jeff had been battling leukemia for quite some time.

Linda was married to Ed Thrasher from 1962 to 1983, and he is Jeff’s father.

Linda also has a 55-year-old daughter, actress Kelly Sloane, who is married to Lance Sloane and has two children with him.

Jeff worked as a TV director and producer, with Junior Chef Showdown being his most recent job.

‘The greatest and brightest young cooks compete in tasks that test their talents and innovation in the kitchen, but only one pint-sized chef will be awarded the country’s best,’ according to Junior Chef Showdown.

He also created Canada’s Smartest Person and The Amazing Race Canada.

Jeff worked on Vegas Rat Rods in 2015 and directed Furze World Wonders in 2017.
