I Hate My Long Hair

Some women think that having long hair makes them look more appealing. But not Sarah Chisolm, a 70-year-old native of Boston who wants to give her long but thinning locks a decent makeover.

In a 2019 YouTube video, Chisolm said she was weary of having long hair. The Boston woman claimed that, despite being 73 at the time, she looked younger on the inside and felt 40 years older.

Chisolm was prepared to chop off her long hair or color it blue, green, or yellow if doing so would give her the “oomph” she was looking for to freshen up her looks. She had grown tired of her hair and was ready for a change.

According to hair experts, short hair is easier to maintain and remain healthy, thus it looks better on older ladies. Because the hair follicle no longer produces enough sebaceous glands, hair dries out as it ages. Older women’s aging hair may as a result become wiry, frizzy, and brittle. The dullness might be more obvious if the woman has long hair.

Short hair’s drawback is that it needs to be cut frequently. Some older ladies can be deterred from obtaining haircuts as frequently as they should be because of the maintenance. Conversely, short hairstyles are relatively simple to manage and style, especially if they highlight the woman’s facial features and face shape.

Christopher Hopkins, the Makeover Guy, who has worked with other middle-aged and elderly ladies, was chosen by Chisolm for her stunning makeover. Hopkins runs a hair business in Minneapolis and St. Paul and creates videos for his well-liked YouTube channel, which has more than 551,000 members.

Hopkins is referred to by Chisolm as the “Magic Man.” Also, he has authored a book for ladies over 45. A book called “Staging Your Return, A Full Beauty Revival for Women Over 45” offers graceful aging advice. Since its first release in 2017, it has been on the best-selling list for fashion, beauty, and grooming for a number of years.

Chisolm received a bouncy, volumizing hairstyle above the neck from The Makeover Guy that goes with her disposition. Chisolm, who has wispy bangs and a young appearance, claimed to feel wonderful about her hairdo and to be self-assured enough to state that if she went dancing, she’d be hitting up some guys. And she loved going to Hopkins’ studio.

It’s just good not to have a hairdryer and loudness like a typical hair salon at home.

I’m in a cheerful mood.

Hopkins’s transformation of her lifeless hair was praised by viewers who witnessed it.

“Sure, she appears beautiful…

She needed bangs because of her high hairline.

Even yet, it doesn’t seem to be the same woman. Her makeup makes her look younger, and I enjoy the way she styles her hair.

“Wow! Such a contrast, she appears to be a more youthful, active woman.

“I love how vibrant she is. She’s content with who she is right now and is eager to dance and meet a guy. That’s a significant boost. I appreciate you, MAKEOVERGUY.

Just how amazing did Sarah Chisolm’s come out? She seemed content with the result as well! Share the Makeover Guy’s work on her with your friends!
