One of the cutest couples in Hollywood is Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton. The couple has been in a high-profile relationship for nearly seven years. Their relationship started in 2015 when they were both coaches on “The Voice,” and it has continued through their numerous social media posts about one another, where they frequently profess their love for one another.
It became a heated subject about whether they’d ever get married after dating for more than five years and regularly gushing about each other in interviews and on social media. The couple frequently had to answer inquiries about any rumors of engagements. Then, in October 2021, Shelton got down on one knee and proposed to Stefani inside a chapel he had constructed on his property in Oklahoma. When the couple announced their engagement, Shelton wrote on his Instagram post that Stefani had “saved his 2020.”
The couple wed in a stunning ceremony in July 2021 at Shelton’s ranch in Oklahoma, overseen by none other than Carson Daly, the “The Voice” host. Since then, the couple has been enjoying married life, and on occasion, they have even shared a stage while introducing the other as their spouse.
Fans of the two singers had been wondering when the two were going to have a kid of their own, even though Shelton was a kind and loving stepfather to Stefani’s children with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.
According to a December 2022 story from Life & Style Magazine, the couple’s much-discussed relationship has allegedly undergone a big transformation that their devoted and supportive admirers have been waiting for. Continue reading to learn more about Stefani and Shelton’s recent activities.
Rossdale, the lead vocalist and guitarist for the band Bush, was Stefani’s first famous partner. When No Doubt played before Bush at a holiday performance in 1995, the two became friends. The pair wed in September 2002, however their marriage did not endure, and in 2016 their divorce was finally formalized. Together, they gave birth to three sons: Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo.
Stefani, who was at the time also finalizing his divorce from Miranda Lambert, met Shelton when she signed up for “The Voice” for its seventh season in 2014. In their shared experience, Stefani and Shelton found comfort, and Stefani claimed that Shelton gave her hope.
“It went from horrible to, like, hopeful and, like, ‘Wow, God, you just don’t know what’s gonna happen next,” Stefani told Harper’s Bazaar.
Soon after, the couple began dating, and the world watched as their friendship developed into a love story fit for a fairy tale. Shelton married Stefani and her three sons as well when the two ultimately got married. For Shelton, becoming a father was a tremendous deal, but he kept enjoying it. According to Life & Style Magazine, Shelton found it “scary” to reconcile his responsibilities as a friend to the three boys and an example for them.
He told the magazine, “It’s one thing for me to be with the kids all the time and be their friend, but you do have to remember after a while that they start to listen to things that you say. “That entails a great deal of responsibility. I’m not sure if being a step-dad is more difficult than being a biological father, whether it is harder or not.
The news that Stefani, 53, is apparently finally pregnant with their first child after multiple failed attempts to conceive suggests that Shelton might finally learn the answer to his inquiry.
An apparent source close to the couple revealed their pregnancy in an article from Life & Style Magazine. According to Stefani, she wished for nothing more than to give Blake a kid of his own.
The “Sweet Escape” singer reportedly underwent many IVF procedures over the years after the couple struggled to conceive naturally. Initial attempts, though, were fruitless.
The source went on to say, “She’d given up on it because it wasn’t working and it was too emotionally taxing, but then she wanted to give it one more try.”
Unfortunately, trying is only for the persistent and pious. It appears that the two have finally conceived after visiting a renowned doctor in Los Angeles: “Gwen prepared herself by eating healthily, practicing meditation, and attending acupuncture sessions. Whatever it was, Gwen did it.
With the advent of a new family member, it appears that the pair is now concentrating on family life. Shelton “wants a girl,” according to the source, and he has already helped set up their Oklahoma ranch by constructing a cot, doing some nursery DIY, and even purchasing a pink cowboy hat and pair of cowboy boots.
On October 26, 2022, at the NYWICI Matrix Awards, some keen-eyed fans detected the couple’s plus one since Stefani was wearing a fitting pink dress that just about covered up what appeared to be a baby bump.
“Yay! I’m overjoyed for you two! Thank you for growing your family. Many blessings from our wonderful Lord above!” Unknown posted.
Infant bump? Blake, you’d be a terrific father!!” Added by another user.
