GONE TOO SOON

An electric scooter accident killed a much-loved mother of fourteen, leaving her children heartbroken.

The 47-year-old Angeline Bryan died after getting hit in the head while trying to help a friend move in Nottingham.

Friends of the well-known mother have started a campaign to raise enough money for a proper funeral and wake.

Friends said the busy mom hit her head when she fell off her privately owned e-scooter and hit the ground.

At the time, she didn’t know that it hurt her so badly that it would kill her.

“She got up and went on, but she had a headache for a couple of days afterward,” her daughter Jaymi Andrews said.

She has five kids, ages five to 29, who are now without a mother. They are being cared for by older siblings and relatives in Milton Keynes, Bucks.

“We were all so shocked,” Jaymi said.

“This terrible accident has broken our hearts and left us all lost.”

“Our mom was queen.” She was there for her grandchildren and all of us. Everyone who knew our mom knew she was always there for others and would never put herself first.

“Mum made things happen. No matter what someone was going through, she would find a way to help them.”

“She was funny, nice, and beautiful on the inside and out. Many people will miss her a lot.”

Angeline, a single mom and grandmother of six, was going to help a friend move when she got into an accident.

The third day, her headaches got worse, and she started acting strangely.

In the evening, her friend called an ambulance because she was so scared.

“They didn’t take my mom to the hospital,” Jaymi said. They said they thought she was drunk and left her where she was.

“However, she wasn’t drunk – it was because of the head injury she didn’t even know she had.”

By the next morning, Angeline’s condition had gotten even worse.

The friend called the ambulance service again, and this time paramedics took her to the hospital.

“After scanning her, they found that the fall from the scooter had caused four bleeds on the brain.”

“They put her in a coma and did surgery to try to stop the bleeding. They kept scanning her to see what was going on,” Jaymi said.

Angeline had a huge stroke on the fifth day and was put on a life support machine, but she did not get better.

This is Jaymi’s GoFundMe page to try to get £6,000 to pay for her mom’s funeral. She lives in Milton Keynes.

As a family, she asked for donations to help pay for her funeral and wake. “We so badly want to give her a nice send off,” she said.

“Thank you very much for reading. We really value everything, no matter how big or small.”

Angeline’s oldest child is 29-year-old Jaymi.

These are the other kids: Alisha, 26, Kaya, 25, Atlanta, 23, Luna, 22, Zane, 21, Donnel, 20, Eniola, 19, Pharrell, 18, Donte, 16, Romeo, 14, Lolade, 13, Evelyn, 8, and Kal-el, 5.
