Excuse me… that bracelet belongs to me.

The Bracelet”

Every evening, Sarah walked along the beach collecting broken shells.

She said they reminded her of people—damaged, but still beautiful.

One day, she found something different. A bracelet. Worn, but intact. It had a name engraved inside:

“Mia — 10.10.2003”

She couldn’t explain it, but her heart started racing.

Sarah had lost her baby girl 20 years ago during a storm on this very beach. No trace. Just a pink shoe and the sound of waves swallowing her name.

Tears filled her eyes as she clutched the bracelet to her chest.

Then, behind her, a voice said:

“Excuse me… that bracelet belongs to me.”
