Beloved star dies today surrounded by her family after year-long stage 4 breast cancer battle

After a year-long battle with stage 4 breast cancer, Street Outlaws star Lizzy Musi dies with her family by her side.

Street racer Lizzy Musi has died after being told she had stage-four breast cancer, according to her father.

The Mooresville, North Carolina, star of Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings told everyone about her diagnosis last year, which meant she had to leave the show.

“At 11:25 p.m. tonight, Lizzy was called to heaven while she was in the comfort of her own home with her family,” Musi’s famous dad Pat wrote on Facebook.

“Thank you for all the prayers and help during her illness.

“Right now, the family wants to be left alone to deal with their grief and make plans.”

“We will give an update as soon as we have information to share.”

After winning three straight episodes of the 2019 season of Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings, the racer became an inspiration to women and girls.

Along with that, her 3.802-second run in eighth-mile doorslammer racing was the first time a woman went faster than 200 mph.

In July 2014, Lizzy Musi made more history when she won a Pro Nitrous national event at the Professional Drag Racers Association US Drags. She was the first woman to do so.

Many people have said nice things about the 33-year-old racer who was honest about having stage 4 triple-negative breast cancer, which is one of the most aggressive types of breast cancer.

Musi was still optimistic about her health, even though the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes and liver.

She told everyone last month that she had “great news” while she was getting cancer treatment in Germany.

The driver didn’t say more, but she had already said that she was going to the Medias Klinikum treatment center in Burghausen, Germany.

Lizzy told Drag Illustrated last month, “I’ve pretty much tried everything here [in the US], and I’ve looked into the doctor and treatment in Germany that can separate my liver and treat it.”

“This just hurts my heart,” one fan wrote under Pat’s Facebook post, which was shared on Musi’s page.

“Young girls looked up to her so much.” I loved seeing her run.”

Someone else said, “One of the best women racers.”

“Her happy, positive attitude was such an example for younger people.” This is too good to be true.

I’m sorry for her family’s loss. Lizzy, run high in the sky.”

“SOUL MATE”
Earlier this year, Musi publicly thanked her boyfriend Jeffrey Earnhardt, who is the grandson of famous Nascar driver Dale Earnhardt, for always being there for her.

“This guy right here has supported me like no other from sleepless ER nights and dealing with my health to cheering me on at my races,” Musi said on Instagram.

“I got to see him play this past weekend after a long off-season, and he killed it.” “Thankful, unique, and how love should feel, @jearnhardt1.”

They began dating after she broke up with racecar driver Kyle Kelley in late 2023.

In a moving Facebook post in January, Musi talked about her relationship with Earnhardt.

“I found a man when I least expected it, on top of going through the worst time in my life… it didn’t phase him and he has loved me unconditionally since,” she said.

“Hair or no hair, he’s seen me at my worst, sick or not…” Get a lot of calls telling me how strong and beautiful I am; talk on FaceTime without my wig on and still get compliments… Jeff Earnhardt, I need to say it: “I am so grateful for you.”

Fans of Earnhardt have called her “soulmate” on Instagram and thanked the driver for “loving her the way she deserved” until the end.

Earnhardt has been sent condolences, but she hasn’t said anything public about her death yet.

He told everyone at the end of April about Musi’s return to racing after she raced at Virginia Motorsport Park in her ’69 Camaro named Bonnie.

The team and she were “firing on all cylinders,” as her partner put it.

CRYING HEART
Two months ago, Nathan Schaldach, better known as Cali Nate, died, and Musi died just two months after him.

Nate died on April 6 in a car accident in southwest Texas.

His car crashed while he was racing in Eagle Pass, which is about two hours west of San Antonio.

The racer was taken to the hospital, but he died from his injuries.

Their girlfriend Courtney Paulshock confirmed the news in a sad Facebook post in which she said she was “shattered” and had lost “her person.”

Musi said nice things about her coworker and called him a “hell of a guy.”

It’s “hard to wrap my mind around this one,” she wrote on Instagram.

“When we get in these cars, we all know the risk.”

“When we filmed the street shows in Vegas and Cali, I got to race with Nate.

“He really races on the street and is a great guy!” Best of luck.

Musi asked his fans to pray for his girlfriend who is going through a rough time in her relationship with Nate Paulshock.

“Please keep my good friend @c_paulshockphotography in your thoughts and prayers!” She also said.

“I know how much they loved each other and couldn’t be apart.” I’m so sad about this.
