It’s official—Al Roker is going to be a grandpa!

Daughter of the Today co-anchor and weatherman, Courtney Roker Laga, 36, and her husband, Wesley Laga, are thrilled to announce the arrival of their first child, Sky Clara Laga, on Monday, July 3.

The jaw-dropping information was divulged by Al’s co-hosts first thing on Tuesday morning.

The grandfather who is becoming a grandparent for the first time reported that his daughter and her family were doing well and that he “couldn’t be happier” about the arrival of his grandchild. He will now be known as Pop-Pop.

Al uploaded numerous pictures of newborn Sky to Instagram on Wednesday morning and shared them with his followers there.

Courtney shared the joyful news that she will be having her first child in the month of March with her friends and family.

She captioned the video that she posted on Instagram with, “A new adventure is about to begin.”

She stated this to Today at the time, saying that they were “extremely excited to welcome a new member into our family and start this next chapter in our lives.” “We are overwhelmed with gratitude and giddy anticipation for our little miracle.”

At the baby shower that was hosted on the couple’s second wedding anniversary in June, Al was there to celebrate his daughter and son-in-law together with the rest of their family and friends.

“Two years ago, on this very day, these two were married. Today we celebrated the impending arrival of their daughter who is on her way. “I can hardly wait!” A series of images from the event were captioned by the ecstatic grandfather-to-be.
