After her husband left her, a pregnant mother of three has to

After her husband left her, a pregnant mother of three has to sell her stroller to pay for food for her kids. She cried while sitting on the floor in her kitchen.

She could only show how upset she was when her three kids were sleeping upstairs and it was after midnight. Anne put a soft hand on the baby’s belly and felt it move. She told her unborn child in a whisper, “I’m sorry.” “I try my best, but it’s not good enough…” Anne was a very happy wife and mother just two months ago.

She was looking forward to the birth of her fourth child and was sure of her place in the world and her husband’s love.

That woman was no longer there. Anne was about to have her fourth child when her husband left her. Like that. Anne asked, “But why?” “I don’t get it; I thought we were happy!””YOU were glad!” Derek cried. “YOU, not me!” You only had babies and fussed over them, and now you’re going to have another one!” “But YOU planned to have kids!” Anne said no. “Every time I was pregnant, you were happy…”Families are made up of people who understand and respect each other. “Happy?” Derek yelled. “Are you glad you gave the kids all your love and attention? I was just a paycheck to you! That’s OVER!”

So Derek was gone three months after Anne told everyone she was expecting her fourth child. Anne went out right away and got a part-time job at a nearby grocery store.

You only had babies and fussed over them!” Even though the owner was willing to hire her full-time, Anne would have had to pay a babysitter for her three boys, which would have taken up most of her pay. So she carefully budgeted her money.

Derek did send a child support check, but it wasn’t enough. Anne sold some old china that her grandmother had given her, and the money from that helped pay the bills for a few months. That money paid for groceries. She then sold a silver brush and mirror set she had had since she was a child. Anne sold her treasures little by little as her belly got bigger to feed and protect her family.

Then one day, only bric-a-brac was left to sell. There was nothing of greater value left. Anne took a look at the old stroller she had just brought up from the basement. It had been hers since she was a baby, and each of her kids had used it. It looked like it was brand new even though it was very old—probably from the 1960s.Anne was crushed by Derek’s behavior.

At the side, there were painted roses that she ran her hand over. She tried not to cry. That was important for the baby, but the money was even more important. She thought that the flea market might be a good place to get a good price for it.

Old things have always been popular… That’s why she took the stroller to the flea market, where someone bought it for $50. It wasn’t much, but every penny helped.Anne thought she would never see the stroller again as she left, but she did. After two days, she opened the front door and saw the stroller sitting on the porch! Anne opened the envelope and saw the words “Please call me.”

After the message, there was a phone number. When Anne called the number, a woman picked up. “Hello?” Anne said. “Were you the one who left the stroller?” “How did you know I live here and who owned it?”Anne got a job as a teller part-time. “Derek told me,” the woman on the other line said. “My name is Grace Robbs.” I believe we should get together.

After an hour, Grace was drinking tea on Anne’s couch. She looked very sad and was a pretty woman six or seven years younger than Anne. Her pale skin had spots on it, and her eyes looked like they were swollen from crying. Anne asked, “How do you know Derek?” even though she knew the answer deep down. It was me who dated him, Grace said. Anne asked, “Was?” “You broke up?”Anne did not make enough money. “Yesterday, in fact,” Grace said as she began to cry. “I didn’t know…”I didn’t know about you, the kids, or the baby…

She found out she was pregnant but didn’t know how to tell him.My friend and I went to the flea market, and I saw this cute stroller. I bought it. I put it in the middle of the living room and put “Hello Dad!” balloons on it. “But I thought he’d be happy, but he wasn’t.” He yelled and asked me where I got the stroller and if his stupid wife had given it to me. It was a joke, he asked. He told me to take it back because he didn’t want to know about your baby. He went crazy when I told him, “It’s for OUR baby.” “He said I was trying to trap him and that he didn’t want my baby because he already had three kids with you and one more was on the way.” I was told to leave and come to you.At the flea market, Anne sold her pretty old stroller.

He said, “There might as well be a roof over all the cows that are in heat.” I’m sorry, I didn’t know about you or him at all!” Anne got up and hugged the girl who was mad. “It’s okay.” You’ll see that everything works out in the end. Grace said in a low voice, “He threw me out.” “I don’t have any family here, and I have nowhere to go.” I work, but the rents in this city are too high for me to live alone, and who would want a pregnant roommate? “I will!” Anne said with force. “What I make isn’t enough to rent an apartment, and I can’t work full-time because I can’t pay for an after-school babysitter.” “But…” Grace’s face lit up. “I work from home!” I can watch the kids after school. “I love kids!”Anne and Grace helped each other feel better. “So I can get a full-time job?” Anne asked with happiness. “The grocery store owner wants me to run it for him.” I can do it with your help! You don’t have to worry about baby stuff either. I have enough for an army now that I have three kids.

Grace smiled even though she was crying. She added, “And we have the stroller too.” “Are you sure?” “Derek’s child…” Anne shook her head no. “All that matters is that it’s YOUR baby and my kids’ sibling.” The two women made a new life together. Grace was there when Anne’s baby was born. After four months, it was Grace’s turn, and Anne held her hand. They raised their five kids together as a real family.Anne and Grace brought up their kids together. He was in a few bad relationships before he finally knocked on Anne’s door. He was shocked to see Grace there and went to talk to Anne. “Derek, what do you want?” Anne asked. “Babe, I miss you…” Derek spoke up. After giving him a long look, Anne said, “Sorry, so not interested!” She shut the door in his face.
