There are so many things we take for granted, such as having food, water, or even a roof over our heads or a bed. At around 2:30 in the morning, a police officer came across a car that looked abandoned. As he approached, he saw that there were two adults sleeping in the front seats of the car, but after looking more closely he also noticed two small children sleeping in the back seat.
The parents told the police that they had no house and that they lived in the car because they had nowhere else to go.
The police were simply moved by this case, Lieutenant Roderick said: “Our new colleague, the one who found them, took it upon himself to make an arrangement for them because they had nowhere to stay and it was cold outside in the evening ”.
That officer was Leonardo Almeida, he had recently graduated from the Police Academy and after seeing these poor people, he knew he had to do something to help them, so he ended up calling a local hotel to ask if there were any rooms available.
That evening Almeida paid $ 290 with much love and goodwill, without thinking twice. Much respect to this policeman, not many in his place would have done the same!
