It was a sunny day, and this family in the United States was enjoying the sun and the waves, at noon the mother told her 10-year-old daughter to go to the room to shelter from the strong rays and have a nap. After about an hour, the mother returned to wake the little one, but she showed no sign. She tried for more than 20 minutes to wake her up, and during that time she called an ambulance.

The ambulance arrived and after consulting the little girl, from the way she was manifesting and after analyzing the symptoms they deduced that it was a sunstroke. The mother also posted on her social media account to let her friends and other mothers out there about what happened so they avoid such situations. The girl was in great danger, her mother acted well when she sent her to the room and checked on her.

It is very good to consider precautions to avoid such situations, for example, we can protect ourselves from the sun using sunscreen generously, and reapply every two hours for better protection against the sun rays. Also, drink a lot of fluids wear light clothes, hats, and sunglasses, and make sure you are aware of the sun’s peak hours.
