A woman noticed at the young age of 15 that a lump grew on her foot, but she chose to ignore it. Only at the age of 27 will she find out the truth.
Cheryl Murray didn’t think it could be anything serious, however, her lump grew bigger and bigger until it was like a golf ball. When she finally had her first boyfriend, he asked her what the problem was with her foot. At that moment, she lied, but David asked her to go to the doctor anyway.
At the hospital, the doctors did several tests and what they discovered was tragic. It seems that the young woman was suffering from a rare form of cancer called sarcoma, here is what the girl confesses: “I never thought it could be too serious. When I found out, I became hysterical. I was so shocked that I couldn’t even speak. ”
The worst news was that the disease had progressed a great deal, and her leg had to be amputated below her knee.
The 27-year-old girl’s boyfriend was always by her side, he even asked her to marry him before the amputation operation, he wanted to know how much he loved her and that he would always be with her. Now the girl confesses that she tells him every day that she can’t imagine what would have happened without him.
Murray currently has a prosthesis that helps her cope and says she has no regrets about not going to the doctor earlier. Why? Because, with her foot or not, she’s happy now.
