When Garth Brooks took the stage at the 123rd Annual Texas Country Jamboree at Hambriston, the famous farm of the Barron Cattle Empire, he had no idea that he would be forced to leave the stage in disgrace less than two minutes later.
“We really can’t keep pretending that he’s not playing for the other side,” a dejected Toby Keith remarked after Garth Brooks was booed offstage. “For 22 years, Garth Brooks has been the headliner of this event,” Keith continued. “But we really can’t keep pretending that he’s not playing for the other side.”

He had anticipated that his supporters would come from the rural communities that were nearby, but instead, he discovered that liberals are his biggest fans.
The sad truth is that he has spent the past two decades adoring them back. His remarks referring to his own followers as “assholes” have essentially destroyed his career and dashed whatever ambitions he had of operating a profitable bar in Nashville.
