A 3-year-old boy died in a car accident on his way to his own birthday party.

A little boy named Josiah Toleafoa was on his way to Play City to celebrate his third birthday with other kids when something terrible happened. A child was hit by a car in the parking lot of Play City in Chula Vista, San Diego. Play City is an indoor party place that is good for families.

A person who saw the horrible event says that Josiah’s mother cried uncontrollably as paramedics tried desperately to save the boy’s life.

Josiah unfortunately died at Rady Children’s Hospital, so all of their hard work was for nothing. Authorities say that the 36-year-old driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated. The police say that it doesn’t look like drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.

Family and friends set up a GoFundMe page on social media to get money for Joseph’s funeral. The kids said the little boy was nice and loving. “JOSIAH brought the family together; his huge smile and loving heart made any room happy.” We didn’t have time to see him do great things. She wrote, “I KNOW HE WOULD HAVE MADE A DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD.” Tatiana Toleafoa said she was the boy’s aunt.

According to her, the campaign was started to help pay for her nephew’s funeral and services. “He was a little angel who touched so many lives in so many ways before he was called to Heaven,” she said. It would help if you could give any amount. Thank God we have loving family and friends who are with us and loving us through this terrible tragedy. We want to bury him to say goodbye and never forget the little boy who loved with a huge heart.

The owner of Play City said he would give the Josiah family $2,000, and the landlord agreed to match that amount.

Even though the case is still being looked into, no one has been arrested yet because of the accident.

This is very sad news. We are sorry for the loss of Josiah Toleafoa and send our condolences to his family. We want you to pray and think about the family with us.
