Do any of us ever stop to think about the concept that anything we put out into the world will eventually return back to us? We frequently engage in particular behaviors without having a full comprehension of how those acts may affect other individuals. To our good fortune, life always seems to find a way to bring to our attention the fact that we could stand to be a little more thoughtful.

One guy came to the conclusion that he was unable to take care of his mother any longer after the demise of his own father. As a result, he made the choice to place his mother in a nursing facility. She did not find happiness there, and he did not go back there on occasion.

One day, he received a phone call informing him that his mother’s condition had gotten worse. She had absolutely no feelings at all. It appeared as though she was presently enduring her final days on earth.

The son arrived at the nursing home in a very short amount of time. He didn’t waste any time and went straight to his mother’s room, where he asked her if there was anything he could do for her.

The mother stared intently into his eyes before informing her son that she had a few requests. After hearing that, he declared that he was more than willing to grant her dying desire in any way that he could.

The mother went on to explain that she needed new fans because the old ones didn’t operate correctly, and as a result, she often felt as like she was going to suffocate. “If you were also able to replace the refrigerator… There were several occasions in which I went to bed starving due to the fact that the food had beyond its expiration date,” she continued.

The son was taken aback by it. He had the impression that his mother was unaware that she was in her final days. After that, he inquired of her regarding the reason why she had not informed him of that fact earlier. It was too late to turn back now.

After that, the mother turned her head to stare directly into his eyes and said, “I know I will die, but I think of you when your children won’t want you near to them either… They will bring you here, so don’t worry… After that, you will discover more favorable conditions… What you put into it is what you get out of it… Remember to keep that in mind.”

The son’s heart was shattered beyond repair as a result of hearing these remarks. When he went against his mother’s wishes and placed her in a nursing facility, he was well aware that he had made a terrible error.

We must never lose sight of the fact that it is our duty to see to it that our elderly parents enjoy their golden years to the fullest possible extent that we can provide for them.
