I WOKE UP AND FOUND MY CAR WRAPPED IN TAPE AFTER I ASKED MY NEIGHBORS TO STOP PARKING IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE — I DIDN’T LET IT GO LIKE THAT

For the past few weeks, my neighbor had been taking my parking spot, leaving his car right in front of my house. I had repeatedly asked him to move his car and not take my space, explaining that I SUFFER FROM CHRONIC LEG PAIN AND NEED A CANE TO GET AROUND. He just ignored me, and the situation continued.

The last time I knocked on his door, I was a bit firmer. I got him to move his car so I could park closer to my front door. I thought that would be the end of it, but today, I woke up and found my car WRAPPED IN TAPE. SERIOUSLY?!

NOT ONLY DID HE HAVE THE NERVE TO TAKE THE PARKING SPOT OF A PERSON WITH A DISABILITY, BUT HE DECIDED TO PULL THIS AFTER I MADE HIM MOVE?!

I SPENT THE ENTIRE MORNING CUTTING THROUGH LAYERS OF TAPE. As I scraped the glue off my windows, I had plenty of time to plan my revenge. And oh, it would be glorious.

As I scraped the last of the sticky residue off my windows, a plan began to form in my mind. I wanted something that would send a clear message without causing any real damage—just enough to make him think twice before messing with me again.

That evening, after he’d parked in his spot and gone inside, I quietly got to work. I knew he was an early riser, so I had to be quick. I gathered a few rolls of neon-colored sticky notes and, one by one, began covering his car. I made sure every inch was covered, leaving it looking like a giant rainbow block parked in front of my house.

To top it off, I placed a large sign on his windshield that read: “Reserved Parking Only – Please Do Not Remove Sticky Notes Until You Find Your Own Spot.”

The next morning, I was ready. I sat by the window, sipping my coffee as I watched him come out to his car. The look on his face was priceless. He tried to peel a few sticky notes off but quickly realized it would take him ages. His frustration grew as neighbors walked by, laughing at the colorful spectacle.

Later that day, he came to my door, red-faced but with an air of defeat. “Alright, I get it,” he muttered. “I’ll stay out of your spot.”

“Thank you,” I said with a sweet smile. “I knew you’d understand.”

Since that day, he’s steered clear of my parking space. And every time I walk by his car, I’m reminded that sometimes, the best way to deal with a nuisance neighbor is with a bit of creativity and humor.
