Child Star actor was found dead in his car this morning

Star of CHILD Benji Gregory was 46 years old when he was found dead in his car.

Most people knew Gregory as Brian Tanner on the hit TV show Alf.

He was found dead in his car at a Chase Bank in Peoria, Arizona, according to his sister Rebecca, who spoke to TMZ.

TMZ told Rebecca that, “their family is grieving a great loss and appreciate everyone’s thoughts and kind words.”

People who knew Gregory well thought he died of heat stroke after falling asleep in his car while going to deposit a check. The official cause of death has not been confirmed.

In the car accident, Gregory’s service dog Hans also died.

As a child star, Benji’s life
In a suburb of Los Angeles, California, on May 26, 1978, Benji Gregory was born.

In the 1980s, when he was still a child, he started working in TV on shows like The A-Team, T.J. Hooker, Punky Brewster, The Twilight Zone, and Steven Spielberg~s Amazing Stories.

From 1986 to 1990, he played Elf.

Benji’s Instagram bio stated, “Lover of dogs, traveling, late-night runs, music, podcasts, Navy, bipolar, major depression disorder, GAD, ALF, VR, Nike, Cinema 4D, Creative Cloud.”

His service dog, Hans, was also a common subject of his posts.

The Actors Equity Foundation or the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) were asked for donations in honor of Benji by his sister Rebecca.

To stop animal abuse, the ASPCA works.

The last thing Benji posted on Instagram
Around April 10, Benji posted a picture of a sidewalk on Instagram and wrote, “Wish my dog, Hans, would grow out of this ‘tagging’ phase already.”

“R.I.P. Ben. R.I.P. Hans.” is one of the comments that many people have written to show their sympathy. Please tell your family and friends that I’m sorry for your loss.

Still another person said, “Thoughts and prayers are with your family.”

Upon becoming an adult, he chose to join the US Navy instead of continuing to act.

With an honorable medical discharge, Benji was let go two years later.
