Queen Elizabeth’s “twin” has sadly passed away today

A person who looked a lot like Queen Elizabeth II and was in Naked Gun and Austin Powers has died at the age of 96.

Jeanette Charles died in a care home in Great Beddow, Essex, on Sunday.

The star, who turned the same age as the late queen, was with her family.

It became famous for Jeannette in 1971 when people noticed how much she looked like Queen Elizabeth II.

She went on to have a successful career in movies and TV shows until 2014. She was known as one of the best lookalikes in the business.

From The Rutles: All You Need Is Cash to The Naked Gun and Austin Powers in Goldmember, the icon had a long list of movie roles.

“Mum was a real character and a force of nature,” Carol Christophi, her daughter, said in a moving tribute. Her life was wonderful.

“She always paid the Queen honor and loved the Royal Family.” We’ll miss her very much.”
